Council nominations call

Dear SASM member

As per the constitution, the term of office of several of the South African Society for Microbiology Council members will come to an end in April 2018. Thus SASM is accepting nominations for the following portfolios:

 

  • President
  • Vice President
  • Treasurer
  • Publication Secretary
  • Merit Committee Secretary
  • Additional members

Nominations are to be sent to the Secretary by Friday 28 February 2018. Each nomination must bear the signature of at least two ordinary members as proposer and must be accepted in writing by the nominee. The nominees must be paid up members.

The newly elected council will be announced at SASM 2018 congress in April 2018.
