Why? This is your opportunity to showcase a new and emerging research field!

You will be required to submit a title and short exposé of the session and tell us why this research field deserves a special platform. Each session consists of three oral presentations, so we also ask you to suggest three speakers, including or excluding yourself, and the titles of their presentations. The Organizing Committee will choose the best sessions from all suggestions based on merit and programme suitability.

Being able to attract international speakers will always be a reflection of an excellent conference. However, as you might have guessed knowing previous SASM conferences, the SASM2013 budget for international speakers is VERY constrained, too. We would therefore like to ask all members, who are engaging in international research collaborations such as NRF bilateral programmes, EU-FP7, U.S. PEER etc. in 2013, to consider inviting their research partners to SASM2013. In many cases there will be an opportunity for your research partners to give a keynote address at our conference.  There is plenty of space available at the conference venue to organize a breakaway session for you and your research partner and a limited number of delegates, if you wish to do so.
