Dear HoS / HoD of SASM member institution,
In preparation for SASM2023, I am contacting you to nominate one student in your Department/School in each of the following categories:
Undergraduate Student (R3000)
Criteria: A student who excelled in their respective undergraduate courses and is currently enrolled in a Honours program in South Africa
Requirements: SASM membership certificate, CV, academic record, Letter of motivation by HoS / HoD
Honours Student (R4000)
Criteria: A student that has excelled in their coursework and dissertation.
Requirements: SASM membership certificate, CV, academic record, Letter of motivation by HoS / HoD
Masters Student (R5000)
Criteria: Highest mark in Masters Dissertation (Masters by research)
National conference presentations
Publication in peer-reviewed journals
Requirements: SASM membership certificate, CV, academic record Letter of motivation by HoS / HoD
Doctoral Student (R6000)
Criteria: Completion or in the process of completion of doctorate
National and/or international conference presentations
Publication in peer-reviewed journals
Requirements: SASM membership certificate, CV, academic record Letter of motivation by HoS / HoD
From all submitted nominations that meet all the above requirements, a panel of three reviewers will choose one student in each category who will be presented with an award at the GALA Dinner of SASM2023
